The plates of these cake stands are underglaze decorated using an engobe technique (a white opaque-firing slip applied to the clay as a coating), having an apple green colour atop a light cream body.
These classic two tier cakestands feature a traditional English stripe design in apple green using an underglaze engobe technique. Just perfect for high tea or afternoon tea.
Each cakestand comes supplied with a chrome spindle for easy assembly and taking-apart for cleaning.
The lower plate has a diameter of 27.5cm with the upper plate having a diameter of 21.5cm. Ideal for the presentation of cakes, buns, snacks or sandwiches.
